Dementia Elevator Roadshow - September 2016

The Dementia Elevator project hosted a national dementia awareness, skills and education showcase on Tuesday September 20th in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI) and the Health Service Executive (HSE).

The showcase marked the beginning of the Dementia Elevator Roadshow which stopped in Clonmel, Kinsale, Tralee, Limerick, Roscommon, Castlebar, Achill Island, Donegal and finally ending in Ardee Co. Louth.  Dearbhla O'Caheny from DSIDC spoke at the Roscommon event about the dementia awareness and educational work DSIDC are doing in schools.

PREPARED Education Project University College Cork

PREPARED has developed and published a clinical web resource called dementiapathways.ie which is specifically designed for GPs and primary health care professionals.

It includes clinical care pathways, a comprehensive selection of information leaflets and guidelines (including some from DSIDC) and a database of community based clinical services and supports available for people living with dementia across Ireland.
