Are you caring for a loved one with Dementia?

"Towards Resilience in Family Caregiving for People with Dementia"  is a research project which brought together numerous family carers of people with dementia and asked them to share their stories and experiences as caregivers and how it has affected their lives.  In collaboration with Family Carers Ireland and The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, Care Alliance Ireland is organising six workshops to help spread the knowledge learned during the project and to also hear from family carers from all over the country.

The research team have developed an online resource to support people caring for someone with dementia and are seeking feedback from a broad range of family carers to promote this resource.

The workshop will last about three hours from 10:00 – 13:00 and family carers will also be reimbursed for any travel expenses or care costs, should they attend a workshop. Refreshments will be provided for each person during the meeting and lunch will be served after the workshop.

If you would like to attend one of the workshops please contact Kevin Deegan at kevin@carealliance.ie
