Engaging Dementia provides education, resources and community activities for people with dementia and their care partners. It works with family carers and nursing home staff. Engaging Dementia’s primary focus is on facilitating communication, engagement and connection for people with dementia. Its activities involve music, sensory interventions, the outdoors, the creative arts, and evidence based therapeutic activities. Alzheimer and dementia cafes are also a central part of the organisation’s work.
